Energy Star Appliance Rebates From Elk River Municipal Utilities
Website to verify QI qualifications - www.hvacreducation.net/gre/public_search.cfm
Effective June 1, 2007, our central air conditioner rebate program applies only to air conditioners that are 14 SEER and higher and they must be installed by an HVAC contractor that has passed a test demonstrating knowledge of effective installation techniques. Once they have passed the test, they receive a four digit number which we call a QI (quality install) number. That number must be listed on our 2007 Residential Central AC Rebate Application form. That form is available from the HVAC Contactor or from ERMU and it must be completed by the contractor at time of installation. To apply for the rebate, please mail the yellow and pink copies and a copy of the sales receipt to us to apply for your rebate. This website is updated regularly with any new contractors that pass the certification requirements.
Please click on the link below and enter the name of your chosen HVAC contractor on the website to verify they have obtained a QI number.
If you have not chosen an HVAC contractor yet you may simply enter in the first 3 digits of your zip code to see a listing of area contractors who have obtained a QI number.www.hvacreducation.net/gre/
